Pastor’s Eleventh Anniversary

Oh how we thank our God for the ELEVEN years of serving as Pastor & 1st Lady of the Mount Zion Baptist Church. We have, and are thoroughly enjoying the journey God is ordering for us. Every day, every week, every month, every year, new and exciting avenues open up to us, and we are the better for them. We feel just like the eleventh hour workers that Jesus spoke about in one of His many parables.

The story goes thusly; there were some day laborers standing in the usual place to be hired, but could not catch on to a job all the day. It seems they had stood there desiring to be hired but no one would take the chance on them. The hours began to pass; the 3rd hour, the 6th hour, the 9th hour, and finally the eleventh or final hour approached and arrived. Although some were picked to go to work at each interval, still some remained unhired. The good man of the vineyard returned at the eleventh hour and those still standing and unhired were given the opportunity to go in and work, and so they did.

Therefore, we very much consider ourselves eleventh hour laborers, because many of
our years were spent in the marketplace of idleness. But the LORD saw fit to offer us the opportunity to come and work for Him, to toil for Him, to serve Him, to live for Him, and we can say today that we have not regretted a moment of being used by the LORD.
